The location is unique. At the top of a hill, home of Ancient Aegiali in the ancient times, in the northern part of Amorgos, you can find Tholaria, a traditional Cycladic village, offering on the one hand tranquility and peace and on the other hand panoramic views to the deep blue Aegean Sea as well as unforgettable sunset pictures.

Plori Studios & Apartments is situated in the picturesque village of Tholaria 3 km from the port of Aegiali in a quiet and calm area. Just above our accommodation is a public parking which you access via the ring road of the village.
Tholaria is a genuine Greek village white narrow alleys and traditional white washed houses. Here you get an unique opportunity to take part in the Greek village life which still has kept its tradition in the daily life and the locals are well known for their hospitality.
The village has several kafeneon and taverns where they serve food from local products in very nice and friendly atmosphere. Tholaria is for instance known to have the best fava (lentils) growth in the whole of Greece because of the soil. There is also a supermarket where you can find everything from paint, groceries, and utensils or sit down for a coffee or dinner.

We pick you up free of charge from the port of Aegiali if requested.
