Whether you are an experienced diver, or beginner, we at Blue Island Divers assure you that if you have never been here in Greece scuba diving before it will not only exceed your expectations but also that you will want to return and dive with us again.

WRECKS

We have 2 wrecks close to the Island. One that sank in 1882 whilst carrying iron ore and the other, M.S. Express Samina. A 115metres ferry that sank in 2000.

REEFS

Due to the volcanic nature of the surrounding area there are a number of small reef either protruding just above the surface or hidden a few metres below..

Caverns

There are many caves, holes and caverns around Antiparos, with the highlight being the Blue Hole, where you can surface inside and breathe the air.

THE ISLAND

Antiparos is a small paradise in the centre of the Cyclades islands and only 5 minutes from Paros. With its golden sandy beaches surrounded by crystal clear waters, the Island is ideal if you want to escape from the usual holiday crowds, but it can also provide a perfect combination of quality diving and adventure. Whatever you desire, Antiparos is a friendly, relaxed haven of peace and outstanding natural beauty.

Warm sandy beaches and crystal turquoise waters! Either you are looking for an organised beach with beach bars and lot of fun or a peaceful one where you hear nothing but the sea, Antiparos combines both giving you the opportunity to choose. Very close to the island uninhabited islets with crystal clear turquoise waters and superb beaches are ideal to forget the rest of the world, lay under the sun and feel the smooth breeze.

PADI Specialties

PADI Specialties – Peak Performance Buoyancy

What is neutral buoyancy? Scuba divers like to be neutrally buoyant so they neither sink nor float. It can be a tricky thing. Divers who’ve mastered the highest performance levels in buoyancy stand apart. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They interact gently with aquatic life and affect their surroundings minimally. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course refines the basic skills you learned as a PADI open water diver and elevates them to the next level. The fun part of this course is giving your dive skills a polish you may not have thought possible.

PADI Specialties – Night Performance

Although you’ve seen the reef  before, after the sun has set you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light. Introduce yourself to the variety of creatures that comes out after the sun goes down. See your favourite dive sites from a new perspective at night.

PADI Specialties – Digital U/W Photographer

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialities, and the rise of digital underwater cameras has made it easier and more fun than ever. The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly with today’s modern digital equipment, whether you use a point-and-shoot snap camera or a sophisticated D-SLR like the pros. It’s a great way to re-live the adventures you’ve had plus capture images to share with your friends and family.

PADI Specialties – Oxygen First Aid

Be the one ready to help a fellow diver should the need arise by becoming a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider. Breathe easy knowing that you know how to recognize illnesses treatable by emergency oxygen. Being the best buddy you can means being prepared – especially in a time of need.

PADI Specialties – Deep Diver

After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the deep that attracts divers. The fun part about this course is the opportunity to explore the depths around Antiparos. It’s exhilarating.

PADI Specialties – Multilevel diver

Maximize your dive time so you can explore more! On this course, you learn how to plan dives that extend your bottom time by monitoring your nitrogen levels during the dive. This is a mainly theory based course and an be completed without actually getting wet.

PADI Specialties – Dry Suit Diver

Would you prefer to stay warm and dry on a dive?  If so, unlike a wetsuit, a dry suit seals you off from the water outside and that’s what keeps you warm, even in surprisingly cold water. Dry suits let you dive more challenging dive sites and extend your dive season. When you have the correct cold water scuba diving attire, you can stand up to the elements and take advantage of the generally better visibility offered by winter months. As a dry suit diver you’re equipped to scuba dive some of those incredible dive sites in the world’s cooler regions that are best enjoyed in a dry suit even in their warmer months.

PADI Specialties – Search & Recovery

Have you ever dropped something in the water? Are you looking for lost “treasure”? The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface. Small, large or just awkward, there is always a way to bring them up. As a Search and Recovery Diver, you’ll know how to search for and recover them.

PADI Specialties – Underwater Navigator

Be the diver everyone wants to follow by improving your sense of direction with the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course. Finding your way is not a matter of luck. When everyone’s buzzing about a reef or checking out a shipwreck they’re having a great time – until it’s time to go. Then they turn to you, because as a PADI Underwater Navigator, you know the way back to the boat.

PADI Specialties – Wreck Diver

Wrecks can open fascinating windows to the past. Most divers find wrecked ships, airplanes and even cars irresistible because they’re intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery, and usually teeming with aquatic life. The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding and responsible wreck diving. The fun part of the PADI Wreck Diver course is visiting wrecks, unlocking mysteries and gaining the knowledge and experience that allows you to see things that others overlook.

PADI Specialties – Enriched Air Diver

The Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air gives you more dive time. You can typically stay down longer and get back in the water sooner. No wonder many divers choose this as their very first specialty.
